Still, we love them
This one is a text I have mainly written in english as a group task. I should write a text with some blank spaces where one of my classmates needs to fill in one word. I have marked these words as italic, plus my teacher also added corrections which I put in brackets (). Have fun.
In my generation we strive (for) action and not for "lazyness". But I don't think my father or my mum don't [my teacher has crossed that word out] understand how stressful and tiring school can be. And I don't think they understood what it really means to have ADD. It's a condition similar to ADHD but mostly without the hyperactivity. I put a lot of things (time) into things I really like or I'm really interrested in. They sometimes think I'm lazy for not doing the dishes but I don't really recognize that there were dishes to wash all along. Right now I'm not interrested in washing dishes thus I don't or hardly recognize them. I think they can't really get to me and they think that I think that I don't care about the dishes.
Still we have a bond or atleast a connection. My father is very absent from my life right now, so my mums partner is like my "father-in-law". Sometimes a bit of tension begins to form between us because I forgot something.
But since I was diagnosed with ADDand I was told that things like this (these) can occur with this condition, I don't take it personally what my father or my mum and her partnersay to me because I know that they're [a bit] too lazy to learn about that subject. But I don't mind, because I know now that I'm normal and that I shouldn't feel bad for my way of thinking. (that's important!) I just have a different structure in my brain.
(Thank you for telling me about this part of your life.)
